MyView Community Basics
- How does the MyView Community work?
- By signing up to participate in Market Research surveys through MyView, you have
the chance to share your thoughts and opinions with today’s top businesses.
MyView works with companies that are eager to find out what consumers really
want from them. These companies convert your collected thoughts, ideas and
needs into solutions that improve their products and services. So, you really
can make a difference. There is never any cost to either join MyView or
participate in Surveys sponsored by MyView.
Whenever the need arises, MyView, along with the Partner Company, create a survey that will be interesting to our members and will gather relevant Market Research data for our Partner Company. We then notify our members who we feel are the best match for the survey either with an email invitation, or a notification when you log in to MyView.com. Once you respond, we ask a series of questions that will help us pre-qualify and determine your eligibility. After all, we don’t want to waste your time with surveys that aren’t a good match for you. If you qualify, we will reveal the topic of the survey, an estimation of how long it will take for you to fully complete the survey, and the reward associated to a successfully completed survey as well for attempting to qualify for the survey. Your rewards are applied once you have completed the survey. Simple.

- Before
you start a survey, we let you know how many MyView Points (MVPs) you will earn
for participating and the average time the survey should take. In exchange for
sharing your thoughts, you earn MyView Points (MVPs) which can be redeemed for
rewards.
Once you complete a survey, you will immediately be awarded the points promised. Even if you don’t qualify for a survey, you’ll still get points just for trying! To receive your “Just for Trying” points, we just ask that you stay in the survey until we have verified that you are, indeed, not eligible to continue any further. You can redeem these points for Prepaid Visa Cards. We’ll soon be adding other exciting reward options such as the ability to donate to a charity or purchase gift cards, subscriptions to services, etc. - What types of surveys does MyView offer?
- MyView offers surveys on almost any topic. Video gaming. Business. Family. Movies. TV. Books. Technology. You name it.
- How do I get surveys?
- Log-in to MyView.com to see what is new in your MySurvey Center. We offer new survey opportunities all the time. Occasionally, we will also send survey invitations to you via email.
- How do I qualify for more surveys?
- We don't want to waste your time. We try our best to only invite you to participate in surveys that you may qualify for, and match your likes, hobbies, and interests.
- A survey is not working right, what should I do?
- Let us know what’s happening by clicking here. Be sure to let us know the survey name and a brief description of the problem. You could even take a screenshot, if possible. The more information you give us, the better. We’ll try hard to have the survey up and running again.
- I wasn’t able to complete a survey because of technical problems. What does this mean?
- We’re sorry for any technical hiccups you’ve run into. We’ll do our best to fix things on our end so you don’t have to deal with that again. Unfortunately, due to our strict security procedures, we’re not able to give you access to that particular survey again.
- I was part of a product testing study and may not/did not receive everything I need(ed) on time to complete the survey. What should I do?
- We’re so sorry for your trouble – we’d really like for you to participate. If the deadline to complete the survey has not yet passed:
- Visit your local post office. Let them know you are waiting for a package for a time-sensitive study, and see if they might be able to help.
- Make sure the correct mailing information was entered. Mistakes happen sometimes. Log on to the portal to check your personal information.
- I can’t remember my username or password.
- We understand. Things like this are really hard to keep track of sometimes.
- How do I unsubscribe?
- Aw, don’t go. While we hate to see you leave, you can cancel your membership at anytime by clicking here.
The MySurvey Center compares your answers to previously asked questions, and matches that information to current surveys available for that day. Then it identifies the surveys best suited for you, and shows you them in your MySurvey Center. We may also need to ask you a few more questions to better identify the best survey for you at the time. The more you participate, the more we learn about you, and the better we get at finding surveys most worthy of your participation.

Qualification requirements are different for each survey. Qualifications are typically based on demographic information, habits and interests. This is why we sometimes need to ask a couple more questions before identifying the best survey for you – and sometimes we won’t need to ask you anything at all!

Fill out your personality profilers so we can better match you to our studies. We’ll do our best to send you surveys that are suited to you and your interests. Please remember that surveys fill up fast, so the invitation we send you might not be the survey that is still available when you log-in. Don’t worry. We’ll find another one for you!
You can find more surveys by logging in to the portal and checking out the MySurvey Center page, 24 hours a day.
We really do hope you’re able to finish the study. Unfortunately, due to our strict security procedures, we’re not able to give you access to that particular study if the deadline has passed.
If things don’t work out this time, don’t fret. You can find other surveys at www.myview.com. We run product testing studies all the time, and you can be sure that you’ll be invited again soon to something just as fun.

- Do MyView Points (MVPs) ever expire?
- Yes, but you can prevent that from happening! Make sure you log-in AT LEAST every 90 days or your account will be marked inactive, and your points will expire. The more you log-In and participate, the more chances you have to get rewards like Prepaid Visa Cards. As long as you remain active your points will never expire. You can continue to accumulate new points as long as you wish.
- Do Prepaid Visa Cards ever expire?
- Prepaid Visa Cards expire four months after the issue date.
- How do I look up my rewards and MyViewPoints (MVP) information?
- You can easily access your balance and history, order new rewards and manage your recent orders by entering www.myview.com and clicking on the MyRewards section. The MyRewards Section will display your points balance and history. You can also order new rewards and manage your recent orders from here.

To obtain a reward with your MVPs, first pick the reward you want. To review your reward options go to the Membership Rewards page of your MyRewards section. Each reward option lists the amount of points required. Once you have enough points, the “Order this Reward” button will become clickable. Depending on the reward and delivery method you chose, it can take from 2 – 3 business days for your order to be complete.
MyView Reward Program General Information
- Can I change or cancel my reward fulfillment request?
- Once you have submitted a request to redeem your rewards, you can’t re-do it. We can’t change or cancel your request.
- I filled out a survey, but have not been awarded for it. What should I do?
- Once you complete a survey, your new MyViewPoints (MVPs) should immediately appear in the Balance History page of your MyRewards section. If you do not see the new MVPs in your Balance History within 24 hours, let us know. Contact us with as much of the following information as possible for a speedier response:
- Transaction ID Number
- A copy of the survey invitation (if applicable)
- Full name of the survey in question
- A copy of the Error Code Message (if any) or a screen shot
- I ordered a reward using my MyViewPoints and I still haven’t received it. What should I do?
- Once you have enough points to get your reward you can click the “Order this Reward” button. Depending on the reward and delivery method you chose, it can take from 2 – 3 business days or longer, for your order to be complete.
- If it has been more than 7 days since you ordered, please let us know by clicking here! We’ll quickly help you find out what’s going on. Be sure to include your Transaction Id Number.
- Want to check the status of your reward?
- Please login to the MyView portal and click on the MyRewards section.
- What is a Transaction ID Number and where can I find it?
- A Transaction ID Number is automatically generated whenever you are awarded points or order a reward. It serves as confirmation that the transaction took place. Whenever you have questions regarding an order or your MVPs balance, you should include this number.
- Do I lose my MyViewPoints if I unsubscribe?
- Yes. Your cancellation is effective as soon as you submit your request, and any associated MyViewPoints (MVPs) will be immediately void. MVPs cannot be redeemed for Rewards after cancellation.
The Transaction Id Number is available in your confirmation email, and on the confirmation page that shows right after completing a survey or an order. This number can also be found in your Balance History. Please keep this information accessible to you for your reference.
Changing your Information
- How do I change the email address on my account?
- Log in and click the tab labeled “Preferences.” Enter the email address you are currently using to access the site and the one you want to change it to.
- How do I unsubscribe?

- How do I update my personal information?
- Log into www.myview.com and click the “My Info” tab on the menu bar. Update the appropriate information and submit. My Surveys will be inactive for up to 7 days after updating member information, so you may not receive any survey invitations right away.
Sign up/Registration
- Do I have to pay to be a MyView Community member, or to take surveys?
- You will never have to buy or pay for anything as a MyView member. Ever. In fact, if you participate in MyView surveys you actually can earn rewards!
- How can I register for MyView?
- MyView is a closed recruitment community. Therefore, we do not recruit members directly through our site, but we partner with other web communities to invite their members to join us as well. We suggest that you to look for our MyView logo the next time you register for other online services.
- What are the eligibility requirements to sign up to MyView?
- To participate in surveys all you need is an email address and internet access. You also need to complete our personal information profiles, which help us to determine which surveys are right for you. The more we learn about you, the better chance we have to identify a survey that you can qualify, complete, and rack up some more MyView Points (MVPs). You will also have the opportunity to participate in Personality Surveys and MyView Minutes – these are short surveys that help us gather important eligibility information that we use to identify future survey opportunities for you.
- What kind of emails should I expect to receive?
- We will send you invitations to take surveys, or administrative emails regarding your account. We may also, on occasion, send other fun communication messages such as invitations to polls, alerts of blog postings, etc. We will never use, sell or loan your email address to advertisers, and you will never receive any email offers or spam from us.

Using foul language, selecting answers to just qualify or rushing through our studies represents violations to our Terms and Conditions. Therefore, when a member consistently engages in activities like these, we do have to cancel the person’s account.

- What does MyView do with my personal details?
- We keep all of your personal details extremely secure. We will NEVER betray your trust by selling, loaning, or leasing your personal information to ANY third party unless you approve it – i.e. if you are doing an in home usage test, the Market Research company needs to send you the product, therefore they need your information; etc. We ask questions about your age, job, hobbies, etc. to help us identify surveys that are tailored to you. We don’t want to waste your time, and we want relevant data.
- What happens to the information collected through surveys?
- Information collected from survey participants is sent to our partner companies for analysis and application to future business decisions. All information collected is subject to the terms of MyView's privacy policy at www.MyView.com/privacypolicy.htm. Participant (and, if an eligible minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) acknowledges and agrees that MyView must disclose certain personal information to Administrator, who is also subject to the terms of MyView's privacy policy, in furtherance of the Rewards Program and redemption of MyView Dollars and providing of Rewards. Participant (and, if an eligible minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) may choose not to share his/her information with Administrator by choosing not to participate in the Rewards Program.
